WHAT'S IN A NAME? As mentioned before, Jaden Foxx is not a name but a state of mind, and you'll soon see why. Just a way-ward nappy girl from dusty ol' Wyoming, I am a curious soul who has discovered a whole new vision into the things that frustrate most, is misunderstood by others, but shared by all. It is the divine struggle of humanity without conformity. Confused yet? Okay, well, let me clarify things for you... Most in life have to search high and low for true freedom, and with nothing more than a microphone, and some fuzzy slippers, I have found just that...what I always thought was beyond reach I found in music. A graduate in medical administration, I have strayed far from my original intention. I was casually listening to the radio and heard an add for the radio station taking applications for on air talent. A friend looks at me and says "You wouldn't have the guts" and it was on. I applied for the job because it was a dare, and low and behold, I was hired. I would never be able to explain why I was hired because I was not serious, and was a bit of a smart ass when I went in to interview. After an hour of training, the mic was put in my hands and I found a passion for radio almost immediately. It wasn't the fact that I would find some kind of fame or recognition for what I was doing, but to put those headphones on my ears, feel the music and let it take me to a place that I had never before been was amazing enough for me to launch a new journey every night that I turned on the mic...I wanted people to be able to experience what I did through music, and so was born Jaden Foxx....I have complete freedom when I am in that studio with the lights off, candles burning, Winnie the Pooh, and Tigger standing by my side in my jammies, and slippers. I dress how I want, do what I want, listen to great tunes and run my mouth and get paid to do it....tell me that isn't freedom? When you turn on the radio at 7pm and Jaden hits the air, the one thing that you can count on is that no matter the day's events, you were sure to tune in and take a trip somewhere out there or whereever you needed to be with someone who understood where you were coming from. Not a star or celebrity, just a regular plain jane chick who has a love of music and a love of people...together it created Foxxtopia...the perfect place to unwind, unload and shut the rest of the insanity out if only for a few hours....
